My Chinese calligraphy writing after having non-practice for more than twenty years (oh, my!) who once earned a prize in state-level competition ; ) and also the first ever representative from school. oh, those time.
I've been wanted to write in other than the only black-chinese-ink for sometime, this morning finally get to do it with the use of poster color. I'm now picking up on teaching my children Mandarin, those words were just popping up in my mind. I don't intend to change anything traditional, but with more ink choice options, I could see the possibilities of those strokes may be seen everywhere which not just confined to papers ^_^

While on a working cum shopping trip, we found this frame on sale by exhibitor from China. The word is Jia means 'Home/Family'. I've been searching for this type of big calligraphy for quite some time, I can't resist it, thus immediately bought it back. To me, every home should have one that could bring everybody home and keep us together...
Also, we got some new electronic item added to our home - a new LCD tv. The searching ended yesterday after few visits to electronic store Harvey Norman to hunt for the right purchase. It's a 42" Toshiba. Hubby could uses it for display and presentation to client as well instead of an OHP projector.
My interest grew as I write with brush. I bought many of writing scripts and brushes these few day and to practice more often... my 'me gui' & 'bi' practicing the writing really need the presents of soul besides mind and hand... this is a rare sight in the technology age...
As usual with a group of friends, we practice calligraphy writing and drawing once a week. This one written by my friend, here's mine, with the same version of writing which i just started practicing;
