We went to Guangzhou two weeks ago, accompanying hubby Jim to fulfill an installation of system there. Both kids were following as well for a stretch of nine days completes with their first aeroplane flight. The weather there was about 23 degreee celcius, unlike ours here is 32 degree celcius which you would feel as it is 38! Look at those greens, it's beautiful. I show my friend those pictures of petty green sellers, they are asking if I want to be a vegetables seller... LOL... I'm more interested in eating them, I say ^_^... The vegetables that I planted in 38 degree-celcius-like weather wouldn't be this big, juicy, fabulous and full of varieties. Only a certain species would grow.
We do shop, I'll show you the shirt top which I had bought in the next post ; )

Fly little birds, fly!

I posted this pretty late from the previous post, the birdies actually are able to fly the next day from my previous post in which our estimation is quite precise from the fact. Once their feather are fully covered the body, which means they're ready to leave their nest and fly. These were the last incredible sights and moments we managed to capture before they left. We're not sad, just feel a little reluctant, but it's a good thing for them. At the same time, feel very blessed and thankful to the birdies for choosing our pine tree as their nesting ground thus providing wonderful experience in raising these littlest. Fly little birds, fly...

Two new birdies

These few weeks, we're keeping the progress on these two new birdies. There are, their parents in pair, feeding, guarding them day and night. My kids who seems so afraid that they would die in hunger, feed the birdies with leftover rice from the kitchen, lol. Whereas the daddy of my house every morning before starting work surely would take a peep at the birds and keep recording the movement of the bird several times in a week. Obviously they are much more enthusiastic than me towards these new members. Whenever I see the adult bird approaching the nest, and even before I able to snap a picture them, they left. It surely serve as an interesting and exciting educational experience for the kids and the adult alike.

Today

Today is month-end, I'm one of them who rush during the last moment to pay for a-sudden-tax notice received three days ago which is due today. The cheque-deposit machine is out during lunch hour and everybody packed onto the other cheque-deposit machine, the only bank in high-dense Relau. I hope you can imagine the fully packed auto-banking room during lunch hour. Upon leaving, I had even accidentally knocked my head on the opening glass door. There's an optical illusion occurred, I couldn't estimate the distance of the door and me, it's not properly laminated and yet those people in the queue never give way to those who is leaving. Not serious as I'm still able to blog, but it is bad, hubby even prepared a hot boiled egg to soothe the bump on my forehead. I lighted up fire on the wooden stove to bake a ginger root for my aching head. Can those glass door and glass panel being laminated properly? Can we people be more considerate and tolerate? When only we would take more precaution measure before untoward happening occur?

Active Bird Nest

We found this new bird nest on our pine tree outside our home a few weeks ago. As they can't fully reach the height of the nest, the excited and curious children of mine keep checking the bird nest daily by putting their hands in if could sense any eggs. The birds didn't disappoint them. We should expect new birdies soon.

Cookie jar refilled

I thought I had taken a few pictures from my kitchen, but only these few that able to show people, sigh, bad photography skill. One of my good friend ML came visiting with her baby son and brought over branded gift which I quite couldn't afford. No matter how much I would love to have those renowned brand thing, but I still feel that the buyer that should have it and enjoy it, not me. Maybe I've been used to give instead of receive and it's very inferior to being a receiver, silly me. So now, one of the ori cookies has been eaten up and I'm going to refill the cookie jar with me-made cheesy crunch \('o')/

Chinese Calligraphy writing

My Chinese calligraphy writing after having non-practice for more than twenty years (oh, my!) who once earned a prize in state-level competition ; ) and also the first ever representative from school. oh, those time.
I've been wanted to write in other than the only black-chinese-ink for sometime, this morning finally get to do it with the use of poster color. I'm now picking up on teaching my children Mandarin, those words were just popping up in my mind. I don't intend to change anything traditional, but with more ink choice options, I could see the possibilities of those strokes may be seen everywhere which not just confined to papers ^_^
Happy writing!
